  • An Anchor for Life

    (Being Still With God Every Day)

    This hope we have as an anchor of the soul . . . where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever.
    HEBREWS 6:19–20


    A glance at the headlines of the daily newspaper . . . A reading of our own emotions . . . A look at our family . . . It doesn’t take much in this fast-moving, God-ignoring world to show us that we need an anchor for our lives.

    We find that anchor in Jesus.

    Our hope for this life and for eternity lies not in ourselves but in Christ.

    He is absolutely faithful to do what He has told us He will do—to forgive our sins, to guide our steps, to be with us always, and so much more.

    God always fulfills His promises to us. Our confidence in the future is therefore rooted in Him.

    In addition to being our anchor in this world, Jesus is also our “forerunner” for the next.

    Forerunner refers to small boats that help larger ships enter a harbor by carrying their anchor into a safe place and thus preparing the way for the larger ship.

    Jesus Himself precedes us into the harbor of heaven.

    He carries the anchor of our hope that is His resurrection victory over sin and death, and He makes way for our eternal future.

    No wonder the Christian is filled with such hope!

  • Die Allmacht des Gottessohnes, Jesus Christus.


    “Der Sohn ist das Ebenbild des unsichtbaren Gottes, der Erstgeborene, der über der gesamten Schöpfung steht.


    Denn durch ihn wurde alles erschaffen, was im Himmel und auf der Erde ist,
    das Sichtbare und das Unsichtbare,
    Könige und Herrscher,

    Er war vor allem anderen da, und alles besteht durch ihn.

    Ja, Gott hat beschlossen, mit der ganzen Fülle seines Wesens in ihm zu wohnen und durch ihn das ganze Universum mit sich zu versöhnen.


    Dadurch, dass Christus am Kreuz sein Blut vergoss, hat Gott Frieden geschaffen.


    Die Versöhnung durch Christus umfasst alles, was auf der Erde, und alles, was im Himmel ist.


    Auch ihr seid darin eingeschlossen.


    Früher lebtet ihr fern von Gott, und eure feindliche Haltung ihm gegenüber zeigte sich an all dem Bösen, was ihr getan habt.


    Doch jetzt hat Gott euch mit sich versöhnt durch den Tod, den Christus in seinem irdischen Körper auf sich nahm.


    Denn Gott möchte euch zu Menschen machen, die heilig und ohne irgendeinen Makel vor ihn treten können und gegen die keine Anklage mehr erhoben werden kann.


    Voraussetzung dafür ist, dass ihr euer Leben auch weiterhin fest und unerschütterlich auf das Fundament des Glaubens gründet und euch durch nichts von der Hoffnung abbringen lasst, die Gott euch mit dem Evangelium gegeben hat.


    Ihr habt diese Botschaft gehört; es ist die Botschaft, die überall in der Welt verkündet worden ist und in deren Dienst Gott mich, Paulus, gestellt hat.”

  • The Supremecy of the Son of God.

    “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.


    For in him all things were created:


    things in heaven and on earth,
    visible and invisible,
    whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;
    all things have been created through him and for him.


    He is before all things, and
    in him all things hold together.


    And he is the head of the body, the church;

    Sei mutig

    “So lasst uns nun mit Freimütigkeit hinzutreten zum Thron der Gnade, damit wir Barmherzigkeit erlangen und Gnade finden zu rechtzeitiger Hilfe!”Hebräerbrief 4:16

    Der sicherste Ort, an den wir uns wenden können, wenn wir gesündigt haben, ist der Thron der Gnade.

    In Hebräer 4,15 lesen wir, dass Jesus Christus mit unseren menschlichen Schwächen mitfühlen (sympathisieren) kann.

    Mitfühlen bedeutet “mitleiden”, und obwohl Christus nicht gesündigt hat, ist er in der Lage, sich in unsere Kämpfe einzufühlen.

    Der Druck, zu sündigen, ist stark und die Versuchungen, denen wir ausgesetzt sind, sind mächtig, doch Jesus versteht, was wir durchmachen. Er kennt den geistlichen Kampf, in dem wir uns befinden, genau.

    Weil Jesus weiß, wie der Kampf gegen die Sünde aussieht, können wir vor ihn hintreten. Unser zuversichtliches Auftreten ist anders als das eines alttestamentlichen Hohepriesters, der immer befürchtete, dass sein Opfer dem Herrn nicht genehm sein könnte. Die Konsequenz wäre sein Leben gewesen, das im Gericht genommen worden wäre.

    Wir haben den auferstandenen Herrn als unseren Hohenpriester.

    Er war das vollkommene Opfer für unsere Sünde, deshalb können und sollen wir uns zielstrebig und mutig an seinen Gnadenthron wenden.

    Derjenige, der auf diesem Thron sitzt, hat Barmherzigkeit und Gnade in Überfluss für den gedemütigten Sünder.

    Er weiß, was wir durchmachen; Er weiß, was wir brauchen, und Er kann uns das geben, wonach wir suchen.

    Geh heute zu ihm!

  • BE BOLD

    Be Bold

    Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. HEBREWS 4:16

    The safest place to go when we have sinned is the throne of grace.

    In Hebrews 4:15 we read that Jesus Christ can commiserate (sympathize) with our human weaknesses.

    Sympathize means “to suffer with,” and even though Christ did not sin, He is able to sympathize with our struggles.

    The pressure to sin is intense and the temptations we face are powerful, yet Jesus understands what we are going through. He knows well the spiritual battle we are engaged in.

    Therefore, because Jesus knows what the contest against sin is like, we are able to go before Him.

    Our confident approach is unlike an Old Testament high priest who always feared that his sacrifice might not be acceptable to the Lord. The consequence for that would be his life, taken in judgment.

    We have the resurrected Lord as our High Priest.

    He was the perfect sacrifice for our sin, so we can, and we should – purposefully and boldly approach His throne of grace.

    . The One seated upon that throne has mercy and grace in abundance for the humbled sinner.

    He knows what we are going through; He knows what we need, and He can give us that which we seek.

    Go to Him today!

  • Fun at the DART UK Training 1.06.2025 to 07.06.2025

    The Training was awesome. Many thanks to the organizers, staff and presenters who presented the training very professional and so passionately. Thank you so much.

    Meeting a family of people who love Jesus and wants to serve in Jesus Name. What a family. I love them so much.

    Ministering to a group of youngsters making fun of us on our way to our Hotel, but instead experienced the wonderful love of Jesus as we love and prayed with them.

    It was also great fun when we went out to Nando‘s to eat together.

    We also took over the bowling club taking eight( I think) 8 bowling courts. It was loud and awesome.

  • The true vine (17.June 2025)

    ““I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.

    He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

    You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

    Remain in me, as I also remain in you.

    No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.

    Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

    “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

    If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

    If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

    This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

    It doesn’t matter how fast you move- without direction – you never reach your destination.
