  • Scripture for today.

    (MSG) Isa. 53:

Who believes what we’ve heard and seen?
Who would have thought GOD’s saving power would look like this?
The servant grew up before God—a scrawny seedling,
a scrubby plant in a parched field.
There was nothing attractive about him,
nothing to cause us to take a second look.
He was looked down on and passed over,
a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand.
One look at him and people turned away.
We looked down on him, thought he was scum.
But the fact is, it was our pains he carried—
our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us.
We thought he brought it on himself,
that God was punishing him for his own failures.
But it was our sins that did that to him,
that ripped and tore and crushed him—our sins!

He took the punishment, and that made us whole.
Through his bruises we get healed.

  • Do not love the world!

“Do not love the world or anything in the world.

If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.

The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.”
    ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

  • Scripture for today

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭5‬, ‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

  • Where 2 or 3 are gathered _ Spontaneous

Where two or three are gathered in your name, you are there.
Where two or three are gathered in your name, you are there.
    You are there.

You are here, moving in this place.
I worship you. I worship you.
You are here, moving in this place.
I worship you. I worship you.

Where two or three are gathered in your name, you are there. You are there.
Where two or three are gathered in your name, you are there. You are there.

You are here, moving in this place.
I worship you. I worship you.
You are here, moving in this place.
I worship you. I worship you.

    You are:
    Way maker,
    Miracle worker,
    Promise keeper,
    Light in the darkness,
My God, that is who you are.
That is who you are. That is who you are.
That is who you are. That is who you are.

(Being Still With God Every Day
That God Almighty—the Alpha and the Omega, the Infinite, Omniscient, Omnipotent One—would choose to take on the limitations of being human is an amazing fact of our faith.
Jesus willingly assumed the limitations of being a man.
While He walked the earth, He was tempted in every way that we are.
He then suffered immeasurable pain as He hung on the cross, and He experienced unimaginable spiritual anguish when He found Himself bearing the weight of humanity’s sin.
Having remained totally free of sin, though, Jesus could be the propitiation—the atoning sacrifice—for our sin.
After all, it is completely impossible for us human beings to do anything to satisfy God’s wrath.
Sinful by nature, we cannot make atonement for ourselves.
But Christ’s death fully satisfies God’s holiness, allowing us to be reconciled with Him.
Having consistently resisted sin, Jesus stands ready to give us victory over every temptation we face.
    Victory is possible.
    Turn to Him today.

  • Taking Bella for a walk.

What a beautiful day. Still cold, but the sun is shining. I took a few photos to celebrate the day.

Seeing all this beaty made me realize how privileged and blessed we are to be able to enjoy this beauty.

There are other countries where the people cannot enjoy this, because of wars, famine and many other reasons. Let us be greatfull, enjoy what we have and pray for God’s peace in all the world.

    God bless you.

  • Trust in the Lord

3 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart,

for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

    Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.

This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
