  • Ambassadors of Mercy

    I appeal to you for my son Onesimus.

    PHILEMON 10

    Onesimus was a runaway slave whose name meant “useful,” once useful to his master Philemon and then useful to Paul.

    His story helps us learn about being agents of reconciliation . . .

    Scripture is silent about why Onesimus fled from his master, although it is generally assumed he absconded with some of his master’s funds or property.

    However, after Onesimus became a believer, he was extremely helpful to Paul (v. 11).

    In fact, this slave’s life was so transformed by God’s love that he was willing to return to Philemon to face the consequences of his past sins.

    Although the acceptable punishment for Onesimus’s offense was probably death, Paul exhorted Philemon to see Onesimus not as an unworthy slave but as a spiritual brother.

    Paul’s personal intervention in the life of a new convert is exemplary for all believers.

    Every Christian is God’s ambassador for reconciliation, forgiveness, and new hope in Christ.

    We must look at the heart of a person rather than the outward appearance or circumstances.

    God demonstrated through Paul’s appeal that mercy is always preferable to harsh legalism.

    You yourself have received mercy from the Lord. To whom can you extend that same mercy today?

  • Prayer of Repentance

    Lord, I am so sorry for all the times I promised to change, but fell back into old habits.

    I am sorry for saying I follow You, yet ignored reading Your Word to know you better and draw closer to You.

    I’ve disappointed You more times than I can count, but I thank you for giving me a new day.

  • Flesh and Spirit

    “Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

    The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

    The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.

    Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

    You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.

    And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.

    But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.

    And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.”

  • Fun at the DART UK Training 1.06.2025 to 07.06.2025

    The Training was awesome. Many thanks to the organizers, staff and presenters who presented the training very professional and so passionately. Thank you so much.

    Meeting a family of people who love Jesus and wants to serve in Jesus Name. What a family. I love them so much.

    Ministering to a group of youngsters making fun of us on our way to our Hotel, but instead experienced the wonderful love of Jesus as we love and prayed with them.

    It was also great fun when we went out to Nando‘s to eat together.

    We also took over the bowling club taking eight( I think) 8 bowling courts. It was loud and awesome.

  • The true vine (17.June 2025)

    ““I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.

    He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

    You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

    Remain in me, as I also remain in you.

    No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.

    Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

    Everything is fast today:

    Fast food, fast cars, fast internet, fast solutions – everything must be fast.

    It doesn’t matter how fast you move- without direction – you never reach your destination.

  • Scripture for today.

    (MSG) Isa. 53:

    Who believes what we’ve heard and seen?
    Who would have thought GOD’s saving power would look like this?
    The servant grew up before God—a scrawny seedling,
    a scrubby plant in a parched field.
    There was nothing attractive about him,
    nothing to cause us to take a second look.
    He was looked down on and passed over,
    a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand.
    One look at him and people turned away.
